Entertaining audiences in eastern NC since 1978, The Farm & Home Band has appeared at numerous trade shows, festivals and on radio and TV. Bob Gaddis, one of the first regular columnists for Banjo Newsletter, plays a custom-made RH Lane Model G banjo.  and sings lead and baritone. Jim Gaddis sings tenor and lead. Dan Vause, from Greene County, NC plays guitar and sings lead. Dan has an affinity for ballads in the folk style. John Booker,originally from Blackstone, VA, live in Ayden NC and plays bass for several groups in eastern NC. John sings a vast repertoire of traditional bluegrass songs.

Banjo picker Bob Gaddis and mandolin player Jim Gaddis were reared in southwestern Ohio, where their early influences included the Osborne Brothers and Stanley Brothers.  The Farm & Home repertoire includes country and bluegrass standards, gospel, bluegrass-flavored renditions of pop classics and some original material

Based in Grifton, NC, The Farm & Home Band is available for private parties, auctions, pig-pickin's, fund-raisers, dog-kickin's, leaf-burnin's, tick-pullin's, corn-shuckin's, weddings, divorces, whatever.
